Why Does It Matter?

My husband and I belong to a small group in our church. They are all absolutely wonderful, funny, and loving people. We usually play a game, converse about a Bible topic, and close with prayer for each other. During this COVID-19 season, we are using Zoom to meet, and just recently started talking about the…

Courage In Gratefulness

Photo by Robin Benzrihem on Unsplash It's now been about a couple of weeks that we have been stuck at home. These are by far the weirdest times I have ever experienced. So many people sick, without jobs, the economy tanking, and no end in sight. So sad, right? I just recur to prayer to be able to…

Out for a treat with the little tribe.
Yes my tree is still up... but there is a good reason behind it. You see, yesterday was Three Kings Day. In order to celebrate my childhood and keep my heritage alive for our little one, we decided to each year extend Christmas and share a small gift. I grew up in the Caribbean and even though I got gifts on Christmas Day, there usually was something for us on el dia de los Reyes. In any way I can, I want to pass on to our baby family traditions and treasures from her island side.
Merry Christmas from our little family to yours! A little bit of our Christmas Eve Celebration. A time for fostering hope, for in Jesus our salvation was born.

Happy Father’s Day to @mr._grape_2015. I couldn’t have gotten a better partner for this sweet adventure.
