Comfortably Uncomfortable

June 27, 2020Categories Adulting 1012 Comments on Comfortably Uncomfortable

This whole year I have been struggling with me. It actually started in the fall of last year and out of pain came the questioning of who I am. I always wonder, am I just too much for those around me? Too colorful, too talkative, too opinionated, too involved, too different? Too much to handle…

be – You- tiful

January 26, 2020Categories Adulting 1011 Comment on be – You- tiful

In these last couple of months, I have experienced what I feel is rejection. Trying to connect with others only to sense them putting up a wall stops me in my tracks. It can make me believe that I am unwelcome and pierces my desire to continue feeding the relationship. I then turn into a…

Out for a treat with the little tribe.
Yes my tree is still up... but there is a good reason behind it. You see, yesterday was Three Kings Day. In order to celebrate my childhood and keep my heritage alive for our little one, we decided to each year extend Christmas and share a small gift. In any way I can, I want to pass on to our baby family traditions and treasures from her island side.
Merry Christmas from our little family to yours! A little bit of our Christmas Eve Celebration. A time for fostering hope, for in Jesus our salvation was born.
Go vote. It’s your right; it’s your responsibility.
This is how you know that you have great friends: they help you pick up the messes in life. Our friend offered to help get a hand around the crazy weeds in our backyard. It was so hot and the job took about four hours.
Happy Father’s Day to @mr._grape_2015. I couldn’t have gotten a better partner for this sweet adventure.
